If you have encountered an online delivery charge issue that you think is unfair or misleading then as well as reporting that to Trading Standards there are potential steps you can take to resolve that dispute yourself.
There are three types of dispute we include in our guidance:
e.g. False claims of "Free UK Delivery", or delivery charge is higher than stated
Seller fails to honour the contract price
Extra options when buying from a multi-seller platform
We have added some Template letters for each of the three dispute types. These letters are a guide and will have to be adapted to suit your own case.
