Summary of key delivery charge issues

Before the consumer is bound by a distance contract, the trader must give, or make available to the consumer details of all additional delivery charges and any other costs.  Or where those charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the fact that such additional charges may be payable. [Regulation 13 and Schedule 2 paragraph (g)]

The trader must ensure that any trading website through which the contract is concluded indicates clearly and legibly, at the latest at the beginning of the ordering process, whether any delivery restrictions apply. [Regulation 14]
